Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, visited Cleves Cross Primary School in Ferryhill, accompanied by former Australian PM, Julia Gillard and Sedgefield MP, Paul Howell. After launching a new fund for girls education worldwide, we asked the PM - among other things - about two local issues in particular, namely Ferryhill Railway Station and Sunnydale Secondary School. We also caught up with Paul Howell MP afterwards to follow up on the PM's responses.

We asked why the need for a new party in Shildon and discussed its manifesto, including the themes of local representation, the threatened closure of Sunnydale School, mental health, young people and the party's aspirations.
